Suntrip in March

Summer comes early here in Sweden, it's was only the third of march and the heat was imbarable. We had to change our boots and jackets to shorts and sandals. The night started with a soft brezee and summer music in our livingroom. We mounted our bikes and set sight for T1. Where melondrinks awaited us. After a few drinks it was once again time to mount our bikes and continue our journey to Ryd. Some problems occured and we left a bike behind. But me and Mimi had Malin's racerbike, so we could still keep up. Once in Ryd we found our destination, a birthdayparty in one of the doorms. We exhanged a few gifts and found ourselfes some marshmallows (naminami) An okey party, but me myself is so happy that I don't live in a doorm! Well, we hadn't reached our final destination, so once more we mounted our bikes. This time it was a little bit more difficult, the roads where frozen, and all of a sudden the bike just fell under Malin and the second later mine and Mimi's did the same...this might explain the bruise on thigh, but I'm not sure! Well at last we reached our destination, Suntrip at Kårallen! So we went in and started dancing as crazy in our flipflops. Now I remember why it is so painful to be in a crowd with flipflops on, people have no honour they step at your feet all the time!! Well it wasn't that bad afterall, after a few times you get used to it ;) We danced around and finally we found our spot, we found the room where a Reggae band was playing. It was a great atmosphere and they where so great, well at least that's what I think I remember. It was such a cool night, dancing in shorts and flipflops in the beginning of march, now I long for the summer even more than I did before!

Since I've told you about my weekend I want information and pictures from your competition guys!!!

Love you all,

Meeting over (read: in) a dinner

I was at Netto, buying food earlier, a highlight when you spend your day in your very abstract books... A few minuites ago I realized I was hungry and checked my fridge. Beer and surmjólk. Hmm....

Well, I was planning to set (the clean corner of) my table when I decided to check the Budardal-blog. ...and I had some posts to cath up from you guys.

First thought "...Lotta has been writing a lot"----I want real food!!!

I widen my sight a bit and checked the fridge again.

"...snow I germany... ----I'll cook sth white....!

"mmm Island" ----Fish I say!

I found a can of corn in a corner... And yes Villi! I also saw the handbollgame between Island and Denmark;-) that was really a win-to-win situation for me so I must say I had a great time watching "us" score again and again (I count both Island and Denmark as us) ----splat! Smash! shoot!....(both my phone and my internet was on vacation at the time otherwise you would have recieved some sms's..)

"Italy you say Birna" ....nå, what spices do I have?

"ugghh... fuck I have to think about my chemistry now!! ...pH was it....BTB colour indicator"----brown, ok than it's not sour at least...

*Rice
(cooked in its own saucepan)

In the other one:
*onion
*milk (~3cl)
*old cream (~4cl)
*coconut milk (more than the others)
*syrdur rjómi (bought today)
*tuna
*corn
*banana
*oregano
*soy

"what did you say about Kjartan?" ok...----Lets falmbée!

Plate arrangement: wheeltracks on ricebed.

Drink: what were those funky chicken holding???

"I hope Malin is reading at least..." ----NAMINAM!!!

(My plan was to write about my funny weekend with Malin and Hjörtur visiting Copenhagen... I think my apetite took me a little out of track...)

kiss o knus ----thank you, you help me realize I have much more than I first see!

(I don't know...the say I have a different way of thinking..)

A day like any other

Today's thursday, just an ordinary thursday...nothing special at all. Its been a grey and warm day so the snow is melting and the birds are singing. Why does it have to be spring allready? I was just getting used to the cold and going on my bike in the snow! Last weekend we went plasticbag-racing in the big Vallamassives, still some snow left. But it doesn't appeal to gi there and almost drown when you get down to the end of the slope ;) Man i sound bitter and sad don't I?

Well I'm not really, but haven't heard much from you lately...so where just wondering if you where feeling like me, or if you crawled under a rock anyway :P

Love y'all

Man, you would think it would be easy...Where are we going in this technical era...I have no idea, my question is: Why does it have to be so hard? I can for my life not figure out how to make big differences to this page...

Like it or not, but here it is...
  • Any comments?
  • Any sugguestions?
  • Any questions?
Well, if there's something...speak now or forever hold your piece...sorry peace!

Poor Kjartan

How come your always so NOT nice to Kjartan...set him on fire...Can't belive you guys! You really show friendship in a weird way!

White as snow

Belive it or not, but we do have snow. It's not particulary cold, but yesterday it started snowing, and snowed a lot. I was home at my parents house, so i took on my winterclothes and grabbed my Stiga snowracer...It was so much fun, we felt as kids again. Haven't seen snow all winter, so this was really fun. We found this gigant hill, about 5 meters long ;) and went down. It was short but so much fun...then when we got home and made snowangels and candlecaves. Then we went to sleep and the next morning it was all gone. But today its been snowing again, so its getting white again...but I'm happy, I've had my five minutes of snow :D

It was so much fun and I wish you'll all have the same fun as I did :D By the way, I hope it's all gone tomorrow. I don't wanna ride my bike to school, if it's all white. I do like snow, but not when im on my bike ;)

Love Charlotte

NAMINAMINAM

Tuesday morning, why does it have to be school everyday?
The one thing keeping me up at this hour is knowing that we have both Skyr, yrja and dálabrie in the refridgerator. And above all we have Bingókúlur...naminaminam...takk Birna!

Why can't Arla make skyr aswell??? It's a nice, healthy and good thing. Sounds like a great thing for sweden right now, but no nothing is happening...

Give me skyr!

Oki, complaining is over...am really happy over bingókúlur, not really as happy over Malin's Hardfiskur...it still smells awful, just like I remembered ;)

Love ya

New Búdardal in Copenhagen

We've had a fantasic and fun weekend in Copenhagen.
Thursday the 2nd me and Malin took the train to go and see Anna. So Anna ran off from work and picked us up at the station, we then started to explore Copenhagen by night and found a quite but weird café (what could suit us better)

Friday we started with windowshopping :) and then for some reason it was very important that we spent time at a café at the train station?! And who did we meet there? BIRNA :) Was so much fun seeing her again, felt like ages ago but yet like just yesterday! Then we went strolling around and had lunch at Annas work ( Café Stella) From there we went back to the station again...who was coming this time...we had no idea, so Malin, Birna and me went around the station looking for someone. I have to tell you that it is hard to look for someone, when you don't know who it is. But finally the person arrived and more or less found us instead ;) It was Maggi. That was so much fun!!! We then decided to go to a museum, yes a museum! But not just any ordinary museum, this was "Ripley's Belive it or Not" that was a fun place I'll tell you. Best about it was the spinning room and when Malin scared herself to death by seeing herself in the mirror =D hahaha! The 3rd of november is when they release the Christmas beer in Denmark, so of course we found ourselfes a bar and enjoyed. At 9 o'clock blue santas enterd the bar and handed out xmas beer to people...free beer in a bar, Copenhagen really knows how to do it ;) Jólabjór, naminam!! Went home, changed clothes and went to a nightclub. My god how boring; noone danced and the music was crap! We tried it for a while, but no thanks!

Saturday, D day of the party. Went shopping at Ströget, my god so many people. We just couldn't belive it, horrible, crowded and stressy. But we did find a toyshop ;) and a place where we could make our own húfas. We now have a húfa saying: Hvar er húfan mín? Haha, we look so cool ;) Anna went home preparing for the party and later on we went home. We arrived at the same time as the speakers and the discoball...wow, this is what I call a real party! The theme of the party was terrorism, so everywhere there where toysguns, bombs and explosives. People arrived dressed out, but it took a while for the party to get started...just as in Búdardal people where hanging in the kitchen. Which is usually nice, but this time way to crowded. We tried to get the party started, and later on people acctually joined us in dance. Me and Malin where dressed out as polices, Anna was a mailman delivering Antrax, Birna was a victim and Maggi an anarkist. Later on Mette arrived (the girl that moved in to Strandhusid after us) The party lasted all night and we went to bed in the early morning.

Sunday was bike and swimming day, now i'm not talking about a heutapottu. anna was determined to go swimming in the sea, as she does every Sunday. Crazy girl! So we found bikes for the four of us and set of to Islandsbrygge. It was a little bit windy and rained a bit. We sat down and ate breakfast as anna and her crazy classmates jumped in to the sea. I mean hello, we where freezing in our laupepeysor and they took all their clothes of and went in the the cold water...crazy people! Afterwards we took our bikes to Christiania, what a strange place, creepy! This was our first day to acctually cook our own food, we did a luxuary sunday dinner with ovenfried potatoes, meat and mushroomsauce...naminaminam! We ended the evening by watching Dálalíf =D

Monday 03.05 Anna and Birna falls asleep in the sofas...03.15 mine and MAlins alarm clock goes off. They almost managed to stay awake, they figured it was already so late and no use for them to go asleep before we went...haha...they fell 10 minutes before the goal ;) Malin and I said goodbye and went out into the night. Arrived back in Linköping at 07.55 and at 08.15 school started, was I tired? Well, YES! But this weekend has been son much fun, so I didn't really care!

More weekends like this, yes please, just give it to me =D

Miss you all guys, wish you could have been there aswell! Hope to see you all soon! Love Charlotte

New party fashion...Åverålen

At first you might think...yes one more in the gang of car-fixing. But sorry I have to disappoint you. I have feeling that I might disappoint a few more, so after this I've made almost everybody here disappointed...Well done, I'd say ;)

So what's all this about. Well let me tell you, you don't have to belive me, but here it goes:

This is my new ultimate party-outfit! With this on you feel like a princess and can act as a pig :D For you boys and girls that like to dress-up, there's no need for that when you come here. And for you that like this fashion: Come on over and bring your own!

This is University for you, nobody's supposed to understand anything here. I'm sharing, so I wont be the only one not understanding =P
Uni is one long struggle, but there's a few hopes on the horizon...this åverål is one of these blisses another one is the parties you can go to wearing it!

Party anyone?

The wiev out of my window

A quick view out of my window here in Copenhagen is not the sea, nor a ugly naked guy, it is the back fasade of the main train station, a bit bigger, but tiled like the one in Finspång, and with inpiration from a castle with some towers and some danish war icons between the huge churchlike gothic windows... If I go closer, and look down the three stores to the street below the hanging trafficlight my first sight is 2000 bikes, a pylsevagn, a bunch of bad parked cars, some building stands and at least 100 moving induviduals of all kinds wearing jogging dress, suits, high heals, weelchair, raincoats, pylsemanoutfit, glamourtop, trashes...

so many things, and anyway it's the sound that cathes most of my attention..!
while I' writing: Truck driving, horn blowing, train breaking, woman crying, Für Elise playing from the elevator in the station, dog barking, wistling, more metallic sounds, runing steps, kids fighting, a cough, some banking, bus that lowers, high heals clapping, engine starting, ambulance horn, bicykle falling, people talking, cars passing, some banking to identify some.... It won't surprise me the day I see the naked guy, but the unbroken sealine I have to wait for I think... You cant include everything in Everything. What is your view?

Islands brygge

Hej alla mina kycklingar! A hug to each one of you and dubble up to Lotta, that just guided me away from frustration on msn:-).

You say you have snow in Iceland now, I also checked out the wether forecast for sweden (we have swedish kanal 1,2 and with a foggy filter also tv4 here...) and that said snow as far south as Härjedalen! Well. I haven't seen the big neon thermometer here on Rådhusplatsen show anytnig under 10 degrees yet... Beatiful South here! Something I do my best to live up for and as late as yesterday I was swimming in the sea down by Islands Brygge on Amager here in town.

Quite nobel of Denmark to remember their colony Iceland (that they never really cared about before..) with some streets and a "harbour/bridge"... Njalsgade, Egilsgade, Halfdansgade, Gullfossgade, Snorregade, Vestmannagade... are they streets in Rvk also? My guess thow is that it's more for themtelves (OURselves, I am one of the danes/baunefolkid now I guess!) to remember bigger land than honuor to Iceland...
